Premium pasture raised beef and lamb. Each hamper contains a combination of beef and lamb relevant to the hamper type and kilos ordered. Please refer to our hamper descriptions. If you have steaks or chops in your hamper, it will be either scotch fillet, porterhouse, eye fillet, rump, lamb cutlets or loin chops. For example, while we don’t have enough scotch fillet for every box, we will always give people an eye fillet steak instead or a cut of similar value. Call us generous but we will always endeavour to give you more rather than less.
-
Our beef and lamb is cryovaced to ensure freshness of individual cuts. Each package is stamped with a best before date and the meat can be safely stored in the fridge until then, after which it must be stored in the freezer. Please be sure to check the seal of each package on arrival to maintain freshness.
When defrosting your meat, leave it in the cryovac until defrosted then cook as desired. Please note that sometimes meat fresh out of cryovac can give off an odour when initially opened which will soon dissipate. You can also rinse in cold water and pat dry with paper towel. This is completely normal for cryovaced meat and quality is not compromised.
-
The quality of our beef and lamb is on par with that of most butchers with the added bonus that you know where it has come from, it is guaranteed pasture raised from farms that have high welfare standards. We use a set price for our hampers which works off an average price for all the different beef and lamb cuts in the hamper and due to our small batch distribution there will be some variation in every hamper.

Our animals are pasture raised on natural and improved pastures in large paddocks on our farms. During summer there can be times when we need to supplement the grass diet of our sheep and cows due to drier conditions. Our Cows can be supplemented in paddock with grass hay grown predominantly on the farm and young cattle will sometimes be supplemented with a beef grain mix to provide extra vitamins and minerals when conditions are less than desirable to maintain health and growth rate. Likewise, our sheep may be supplemented with beans grown on property, grass hay and/or wheat grown on farm and trail fed in the paddock when conditions are drier. And the cherry on top of this feed diversity is extra tasty, tender beef and lamb for your table!
